Common questions
What is Bharat Connect (BBPS)?
Bharat Connect, earlier called the Bharat Bill Payment System, is the RBI-mandated interoperable bill payment network run by NPCI Bharat BillPay Limited. A payment made through it is posted to the biller and confirmed with a unique reference number.
Is Dramepe a bank or a BBPOU?
No. Dramepe is a technology platform. Bill payments are processed through an RBI-authorised Bharat Bill Payment Operating Unit (BBPOU), and every successful payment carries a Bharat Connect reference.
Who can become a partner?
Any registered business or individual retailer with valid KYC — shops, CSCs, distributors, apps and companies. We verify every partner before the account goes live.
How do I add money to my wallet?
By UPI or by bank transfer (IMPS/NEFT/RTGS) to the account shown in your dashboard. UPI top-ups reflect immediately.
What happens if a payment fails?
If the biller rejects or fails the payment, the full amount is reversed to your wallet automatically. If a payment is pending, its status is updated as soon as the biller responds.
How do I raise a complaint about a bill payment?
Use the complaint page with your transaction reference. We register it on Bharat Connect, give you a complaint ID and keep you updated until it is resolved.
